Kamal Boullata, who was born in 1942 in Jerusalem, Palestine, was a Palestinian artist and art historian, he mostly worked with acrylic, and he usually used abstract styles for his work, he expressed his idea of division in Palestinian identity and the separation from his homeland. The artworks shown above are examples of Bollata’s abstract style of painting, the use of shapes and colors may represent his homeland and the traditional use of lines and colors, he uses extremely bright colors to showcase in his paintings, making them bright from every side. The use of different colors and lines gives the painting a sense of power and a distraction. Boullata focused on using the same color palettes for the artworks, the first three artworks he used subtle colors, while in the last artwork he used bright colors.
